Seniors’ Soul Care Program – Week One Summary
The Seniors’ Soul Care Program commenced its six-week session on September 9, 2026, at Greater Life Community Church (GLCC) in Bradford, with six seniors in attendance.
The first session was facilitated by Karen Fasulo, a breathing-technique facilitator, who introduced participants to helpful breathing practices that support relaxation and overall well-being.
Participants also completed a Special Interest Form, allowing them to share their interests and provide input into how the remaining five weeks of the program should develop.
The Seniors’ Soul Care Program is being delivered by the Simcoe Caribbean Association in partnership with the Ethnic Mosaic Alliance (EMA). Through this partnership, EMA is demonstrating its commitment to supporting Bradford seniors who are aging in place.
The participants are excited to be part of the Seniors’ Soul Care group and appreciate the opportunity to connect with others, learn new skills, and participate in activities that promote their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
