Simcoe Caribbean Association is a community-rooted organization dedicated to celebrating Caribbean culture, strengthening connection, and creating meaningful opportunities for education, mentorship, and personal growth across Simcoe County.
The Simcoe Caribbean Association mission is to embrace Unity through Diversity: The association is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where the Caribbean cultural experiences enrich the lives of all residents in the Simcoe county region. Rooted in the principals of love and unity as inspired by biblical teachings, we strive to promote understanding, respect, and celebration of Caribbean heritage.

We honour the richness, beauty, and diversity of Caribbean heritage and create opportunities to share it with pride.
We believe strong communities are built through connection, mutual support, inclusion, and shared purpose.
We promote growth through knowledge, mentorship, cultural learning, and leadership development.
We are grounded in principles of respect, dignity, compassion, integrity, and unity.

The Simcoe Caribbean Associaton has created programs that educate, empower, and inspire every generation. Our programs are designed to support personal growth, cultural identity, life skills, and community connection across generations. Each initiative reflects our commitment to excellence, heritage, and meaningful impact.

Our Afrocentric Saturday School provides a culturally enriching learning environment where students can explore African and Caribbean history, heritage, literature, values, and traditions in a meaningful and affirming way. The program encourages pride in identity, deeper cultural understanding, academic enrichment, and leadership development while helping students build confidence and connection to community.

SCA Etiquette Academy is a signature program focused on confidence, character, presentation, and social development. Through practical instruction and guided experiences, participants develop essential life skills that support success in school, relationships, community settings, and future professional environments. The academy is designed to nurture poise, self-respect, communication skills, and personal excellence in a way that is both empowering and culturally grounded.

Our seniors program provides engaging social, physical, and cognitive activities that help reduce isolation, promote well-being, and foster meaningful connection. We honour our seniors as an essential bridge to our heritage, carrying the wisdom, traditions, and experiences that enrich our community. Their contributions are deeply valued, and this program is designed to support, celebrate, and keep them actively connected.

A quarterly sisterhood luncheon that brings women together for guided conversation, connection, and shared wisdom. Each gathering explores meaningful themes such as lessons we wish we knew earlier, navigating careers, cultural values that have shaped us, and the ways we feel most called to serve through volunteer engagement.
Representation matters. Cultural education matters. Community support matters.
At Simcoe Caribbean Association, we believe that when people feel seen, valued, and connected, communities grow stronger. Our work helps foster belonging, confidence, cultural appreciation, and opportunities for people of all ages to thrive.
We are not only creating programs. We are building legacy, strengthening identity, and investing in a more connected and empowered future.

Your support helps make our programs, cultural initiatives, and community outreach possible. Every contribution helps us invest in education, youth development, cultural celebration, and meaningful opportunities for connection and growth. Help us in building a stronger, more vibrant community for future generations.
